This is the first time we have ever ventured out into the sea, launching from Knot End and ended up off the coast of Morecambe. We had some fun along the way which involved chasing down a ferry as well as me going for a swim after I got chucked from Rods ski. Sadly on the way back both of Rods skis broke down which meant we had to tow them for over 10 miles at less than 15mph in weather conditions which were getting worse. Luckily a fishing vessel had seen us and managed to radio through to the coastguard who kept watch over us from Knot End until we got back to shore and then he made us all a nice brew to warm us up.
I managed to capture 30 mins of footage on my action camera and Rod managed to get a decent amount from his head cam, although mine is a bit boring as its unedited but Rods video is awesome and I highly recommend watching it.

Some more fun at Snatchems (Lancaster)
A huge tide on the River Lune had attracted many people from pwcforum.co.uk out for a day of fun, our ski was running great after its repair and service in-fact better than ever. The water was still cold at just above freezing but at least the sun was out shinning but sadly a young lad got into difficulty wearing only a "shorty" wetsuit, its a good job Rod was there to rescue him.
Nat also managed to get some shots of the guys wake-boarding from Rods boat and we managed to get some decent video footage between us.

Rod's video from new years day
Rod had filmed a video from his mobile phone showing his friends wake boarding from his boat, but if you look closely you will see my dad on our ski following them in the distance
New year fun at Snatchems (Lancaster)
After over 8 weeks of not using the ski due to bad luck with tides, weather and work shifts we got invited by a guy called Rod to an annual event held on new years day in which skiers and boater would meet up for some fun on the water and a few beers afterwards. With air temperatures of -4 and water temperature of 0.5 degrees the drysuits me and my dad purchased came in very handy. Sadly everyone else who wore wetsuits got were not quite as warm as us two, and spend most of the day on Rods boat. Again everyone including Tom from work had a fun day and afterwards we went into the pub for some food and drinks.

Stuck at Stannah (Fleetwood)
After a second successful trip to Stannah, me Nat and my dad headed out on a fairly cold morning in the hope of getting a good day out.
Sadly the 8.5 meter tide we expected didn't really happen for some unknown reason and after only 2 hours of fun the tide had dropped really fast which resulted in me getting stranded for over 10 mins on a sandbank. Luckily however after much effort I managed to free the ski and recover it onto the trailer safely
